Joshua's Journeys #4 Mother's Day

I have been trying to find words, any words, to say how I am feeling lately. There are no words, one thing I do know is that time does not heal. My heart aches for Joshua every day, and I miss him more deeply as each day passes. Joshua was my first born. I had wanted to be a mother for such a long time, and Joshua allowed me to do just that. Joshua taught me so much about love, the important things in life, and what it means to be a mother in every sense.


When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. Isaiah 43:2

THE BROKEN CHAIN~

We had no way of knowing
when God would call your name.
In life we loved you dearly.
in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone;
for part of us went with you
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.
